Our Advisory Board
The Advisory Board of the NCER-FinTech ensures that the research activities are aligned with the needs of the financial sector.
As an Associate Professor of Finance at EMLV Business School in Paris, Arash has had research featured in the Journal of Finance, Management Science, Nature, and Lancet.
With affiliations to the Digital Finance Chair at Université Paris II, Telecom Paris, and the Cardiff Fintech Research Group, he contributes to the leading interdisciplinary conferences, including the CBER Conference and the Tokenomics conference.
Jean-Marc Jézéquel is a Professor of Software Engineering at the University of Rennes and a member of the DiverSE team at IRISA/Inria, as well as a fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF).
Since 2024 he is President of Informatics Europe. From 2012 to 2020 he was Director of IRISA, one of the largest public research lab in Informatics in France.
Katja is a law professor at Goethe-University, affiliated professor at SciencesPo, Paris, and visiting faculty at Fordham Law School, NYC.
She has held visiting positions at Sorbonne; WU Vienna; LSE; Columbia, Fordham and PennLaw School and will join NYU Law Global Faculty in 2025. She holds various supervisory board positions.
Ulrike Lechner is currently appointed as the Chair of Information Systems at Universität der Bundeswehr München. She accomplished her academic degrees in Computer Science at Universität Passau, including her PhD.
She has held positions such as professor, lecturer, and project manager at Universität St. Gallen. Additionally, she held a professorship at Universität Bremen.
Manuel Núñez is a Professor at Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. He is a member of two IEEE Technical Committees, the Tarot Summer School’s Board of Directors and A-MOST, ICCCI and QRS Steering Committees.
His research focuses on formal approaches to testing and the combination of Computer Science and Economics.
Lukasz Szpruch is a Professor at the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh and the Programme Director for Finance and Economics at the Alan Turing Institute, the National Institute for Data Science and AI.
At Turing, he provides academic leadership for partnerships with the National Office for Statistics, Accenture, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and HSBC.
